Getting started with PowerPoint
What is Microsoft PowerPoint?
Microsoft PowerPoint is a presentation program and one that most are probably already familiar with to some extent. Microsoft PowerPoint is ideal for creating concise and engaging presentations of content which can be shared in workshops and tutorials. The PowerPoint presentations can be saved a PDF file and uploaded alongside the workshop and tutorial recordings for students to review as required. PowerPoint presentations are also compatible with the H5P Course Presentations which enables you to transform your presentation into an active learning experience for students to engage in asynchronously as part of the self-access component of their unit. More information about how to transform a PowerPoint presentation into a H5P Course Presentation is available here: Creating a H5P Course Presentation with PowerPoint slides.
Microsoft PowerPoint is part of the Microsoft Office 365 package and is available to all staff at Southern Cross University.
