Daylight savings and Blackboard

Understanding Blackboard due dates during daylight savings.

Daylight savings starts on the first Sunday in October and ends on the first Sunday in April.

Assessment Items

All Blackboard due dates are set at Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT) 

E.g. quizzes, Turnitin assignments, Blackboard assignments, discussion boards, Voicethread, portfolios etc.



Collaborate Ultra

Collaborate Ultra start and end dates are displayed by the user's computer's local system clock.

Please make sure the clock of your device is set to your local time zone.



Zoom

Zoom start and end dates are displayed by the user's Zoom profile account setting preferences.

Please make sure your Zoom account is set to the correct time zone.  To update your Time Zone, log into Zoom and update your personal settings. More information can be found here
