Installing Grammarly browser extensions and apps

Grammarly has a range of different browser extensions, plug-ins and mobile apps. Refer to this guide for installation instructions.
 Internet Browser Extensions

 Mac Computers

Grammarly doesn't offer a Microsoft Office plug-in for Mac computers.


To install the Desktop application

Step 1: Navigate to Grammarly portal:  https://www.grammarly.com


Step 2:  Click the Log In button and sign into Grammarly with your SCU email address

Grammarly doesn't use the same sign on system. If you can't remember your password, please click the "Can’t log in?" button



Step 3:  From the left menu, click on Apps



Step 4: Choose the desktop app for MacOS.

Click the red install button

 PC Computers

Grammarly offers a Microsoft Office plug-in and a desktop app

To install the Microsoft Office plug-in or Desktop application

Step 1: Navigate to Grammarly portal:  https://www.grammarly.com


Step 2:  Click the Log In button and sign into Grammarly with your SCU email address

Step 3:  From the left menu, click on Apps



Step 4: Choose between the Microsoft Office plug-in or the Windows desktop app.
