Seeing or understanding a Turnitin originality report

This guide provides information on understanding your Turnitin originality report

Originality reports are usually created within 5-10 minutes on the first submission. However, lengthy documents can take a little more time.

If it is your first submission and the similarity index is still showing "pending' after the 5-10 minutes, try leaving the page where you submitted the assignment and then go back to it.

The Unit Assessor or Lecturer can choose whether to allow students to view the originality report. Contact your Unit Assessor or Lecturer if you are unable to see the originality report after 24 hours of submitting your assignment.

After three submissions attempts, you will need to wait 24 hours before the originality report is generated.

Re-submissions must be enabled by your unit assessor.  If you can’t resubmit your file, please contact your unit assessor.
