About Attachments
Email attachments are removed from D365 after 2 months and moved to SharePoint storage.
Users will still be able to access these attachments. You may need to save the URL to your computer before the file will open. A URL file may look like (duckling.PTM_SPS.57.jpg.url)
If you are forwarding an email with attachments that have been moved to SharePoint, the recipient will receive the URL and not the attachment.
They will also not be able to access the file as it has restricted access.
Any emails that require the recipient to view an attachment will need the attachment added manually. i.e. downloaded onto your computer and added as you would a normal attachment.
If you have issues accessing the URL while using D365, please contact the Service Desk (servicedesk@scu.edu.au).
